A Hellish Day

You know I'd always thought of the Devil card as being that of temptation (literally with this deck), of facing your hidden shadows ........ and even of watching out for hidden betrayals ....... I have never had it come up before to literally tell me "You're going to have a hell of a day!" ..... especially not with this imagery. But that's precisely the kind of day I've had. From getting a late train to work, having my log on at a work pc fail badly, and then needing a hard drive swapped out ...... wasting over an hour of time that was needed for urgent work. And then of course, you play catch up all day ...... run off your feet. Ah but come the end of the working day it's got to get better right? You relax on the train home, envisage some chill out time ............ to walking indoors and hear the hellish neighbours with their music (not loud enough to report alas) ....... to then hearing them slag you off, take the mickey out of you ...... and all because they know you can hear them because you let the chickens out so they take the opportunity to try and intimidate you!

So can you ever get a positive out of such a day? Well ..... at least I heard her say she wouldn't hurt the chickens (they'd threatened so some months ago) .... and I also learnt that their estate agency have assured them they won't be kicking them out. What they don't know yet is that the police were called at the weekend ...... and I'm not letting this drop. Let's hope they're not displaying any fox-like cunning ....... and that it's me and my persistence they need to be wary of!
