Interesting card for this position .... it's not like it's a definite negative or positive (after all, all cards have both aspects) ...... the 3 wands is normally seen as a "waiting game" .... and I do see that as answering part of the question ....... however I am also going to add in here that while yes, he may be "waiting for the One" ...... while he's on this site, he also likes playing the "game", connecting to others ....... and basically if he thinks his efforts will bear fruit ...... then he'll take what he can get in the meantime.
Deadly!!! Hahaha, that says it all really ..... combine that with the Knight of Cups and I bet he's very successful in his job! So ..... pretty lethal with words .... I would say expect a lot of wit, but also very sharp too .... that blade looks very dangerous. And not forgetting the child .... so likely fun and/or childlike .... naivete too can come across as very charming if you think someone is being genuine. Let's not forget too the intensity of Scorpio which rules the Death card ... although it's often said that the waters of Death can be pretty stagnant .... basically watch your back ... there could be more consequences to this banter than you expect ..... especially if you land in dirty water!
Now .... given that we have both the Queen and the Knight above ...... I am wondering if this is the connection with a child. However, I could never view a child as a "flaw" ..... yet that family connection seems strong ...... another possible warning that all is not as is seems, and actually, he really isn't single! There is also the emotional immaturity aspect here ...... he could be very childlike ...... not ready or able to give commitment (regardless of what he says about wanting a genuine long-term relationship) ...... or it could even be that he doesn't even really know what he wants emotionally. Basically, as each card is laid down .... what I'm seeing here is someone who isn't really suitable for me.
